About JointAction
What is JointAction?
JointAction is the workplace MSD prevention platform — the solutions and intelligence layer that turns objective assessment evidence into a compounding prevention asset. Etiscope captures the physical-work evidence; MoveTime is a parallel path for sedentary work; Project Jai is the platform's AI capability.
Is Etiscope the platform?
No. Etiscope is the physical-work assessment product — how customers capture the evidence the platform runs on. The platform is the layer above it that turns that evidence into task insights, return-to-work matching, the risk universe and longitudinal reporting.
About the assessment
How long does an assessment take?
Around ten minutes per task. That short footprint is what makes it possible to build a task demands library across every important role.
What does the kit involve?
Five IMU sensors worn during the real task, an iPad capture app, and the Consequential Risk Score — used by a trained assessor in the actual workplace, in the actual conditions.
Worker privacy
Does JointAction monitor individual workers?
No. The platform assesses tasks and roles, not individuals. Workers aren't surveyed or scored as people — the unit of analysis is the work.
What about video?
Video is optional and supports face-blurring. Capture is for evidence about the work, not identification of the worker.
The methodology
What is the Consequential Risk Score?
A consequence-weighted score: it integrates multiple exposure and context factors, then weights them by injury severity, recovery pathway and claims-cost data — so it reflects which task will hurt someone, not just which angle crossed a threshold.
Is it compatible with REBA, RULA and the standards we already use?
Yes — it's built to sit alongside established methods and standards (REBA, RULA, MAC, ISO 31000, ISO 11228-1, Safe Work Australia guidance). The framework is openly defendable; the weighting and calibration are trade-secret-protected.
The platform
What does the platform produce?
Task and job insights, a task demands library, return-to-work matching, the risk universe, validation evidence, longitudinal reporting and Project Jai workflows. No single output is the headline — the strength is the layer as a whole.
Does it integrate with our systems?
The platform is built to integrate into a customer's safety-management environment; integration support is part of the relationship.
Commercial
How is it priced?
A population-banded annual subscription that scales with the workforce you're responsible for — unlimited assessments and users inside every tier. You can start with a $5,000 pilot.
Is this consulting?
No — it's a platform subscription. Professional advisory is available through JointAction and an ecosystem of approved consultants, but the platform isn't sold as consulting hours.
The relationship
Who owns the prevention program?
You do. JointAction provides the platform, the partnership and the ecosystem; you design, govern and run the program.
What support is included?
Technical and integration support, with tiered support packages (Light / Active / Intensive) available.
AI
What is Project Jai?
The AI capability inside the platform — natural-language reporting, decision support and exposure forecasting, grounded in your own assessment evidence.
How is our data used for AI?
Customer data used for training is anonymised and non-identifiable, and you can opt out. There is no cross-customer leakage.
