The work is the problem, not the worker.
Six convictions the platform, the methodology and the relationship are built on — not a slogan stack. Each is a position on a real question: who's responsible for the injury, what counts as a reduction, who owns the program. You should feel them underneath everything we publish.

Workers deserve evidence, not opinion
A worker's body is not a place for guesswork. For fifty years, managing musculoskeletal risk has meant one person watching another and writing down a number. Evidence and opinion are not the same thing — and the worker is the one who pays when we confuse them.

The work is the problem, not the worker
“Lift with your legs” has been the dominant control for half a century, and the injury rate hasn't moved. We start at the top of the hierarchy of controls — eliminate, substitute, engineer — because that is where the work design lives.

A risk score is only useful if it changes a decision
A number that doesn't lead anywhere is decoration. Every Consequential Risk Score is engineered to point to a specific lever and answer the safety leader's real question: what should we do about it?

If you didn't validate the control, you don't know it worked
The most expensive failure in safety is a control everyone assumes is working but isn't. The same task, reassessed after the control is in, produces a directly comparable post-score — pre and post, side by side, in evidence the team can audit and defend.
